Where: Artlink, 300 E. Main Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46802.

This workshop is an express version of the guided sketchbook course, focused on slowing down, recording your observations, and creating the habits of a bold sketchbook practice. You’ll meet in the studio for 2 hours of reflection on a recent trip or experience that you want to record in your sketchbook. This condensed session will introduce 8 modes of visual sketchbook recording that will allow you to build a sketchbook record of a specific time and place. Following the course, you can continue to use these prompts on-location to record future experiences!

Bring your sketchbook, travel art materials, gathered mementos from a trip, and some images you want to record. No experience necessary—all skill levels are welcome! You'll leave with a sketchbook full of travel drawings and inspiration to keep up your recording practice. Build the habits of a creative sketchbook practice!
