Luminous

David Hannon

This solo exhibition by David Hannon features paintings that investigate the intersection of wonder and the everyday, creating visual narratives that challenge perception and invite deeper reflection. Carefully described forms and surfaces are balanced by the weightless spaces of the artist’s imagination sparking a rise from the familiar to the extraordinary. Luminous elements of paint emphasize points of significance and serve as metaphors for the polarizing forces of contemporary society—between creation and destruction, permanence and decay, luxury and waste.
