In this workshop you’ll learn how to make a pocket-sized leather-covered journal using simple bookbinding techniques. This leather journal is the perfect size for quick sketches, poetry, jotting down ideas or daily journalling.

Using leather for the cover and a variety of art papers you’ll construct a small journal adding your own personalized closure using cording, buttons and beads supplied by the instructor.

Once you learn these simple bookbinding techniques, you’ll find yourself constructing

one-of-a-kind journals using supplies from your art stash!
