Exhibition Proposals

Artlink is now accepting proposals for solo, group, and curated exhibitions! Exhibition proposals will be reviewed by the Artlink Artist Panel and Exhibitions Coordinator once a year for consideration in our exhibition schedule for the following year. Those whose proposals are selected will be notified by email and provided with an exhibition contract. Time preferences are welcome as part of the submission process, but are not guaranteed.

Exhibition Proposal Requirements

Please email a PDF containing the following information to Exhibition Coordinator, Ellen Mensch at ellen@artlinkfw.org.

  • Artist name, phone number, email, and address

  • Artist statement (Tell us about your work. Examples: what are the major themes of your work? Why do you create your work? What mediums will you be using and why? Etc...)

  • Artist bio (Tell us about yourself. Examples: where are you from? Have you received any formal training in art? If so, from where and when? What experience do you have in the arts? Etc...)

  • Exhibition proposal (~1 page. Tell us about the exhibition you're proposing. Examples: Do you have a title in mind? Is there a theme or concept to the work? What media will you be using? How many works do you anticipate having? What is the scale? Where in the gallery do you envision the work? Has the work already been made or will it be completed prior to the exhibition? Etc...)

  • 10 - 20 Images with artwork info (artist, title, medium, size)

  • For group proposals, please include bios, artist statements, and 3-10 images for each artist.

Entry Fee
There is an entry fee of $25 per proposal. Payment for entry should be made online by following the button below, or by check made payable to Artlink. Click the button below to pay.

Things to keep in mind

  • There are usually 2-3 exhibitions at a time exhibited in our space. If accepted, there are a variety of areas in the gallery your work may be displayed. You’re welcome to give a preference in your proposal, but it will ultimately be decided based on where the staff feel the exhibition works best cooinciding with what else is alotted.

  • For more distant National artists, you are more than welcome to submit a proposal, but please keep in mind that Artlink does not pay for artwork shipping or travel expenses.

  • Click here for a floorpan of the gallery. The main gallery space can be seperated in various ways with moveable walls, and can hold 1-3 exhibitions. We have 12 pedestals, 1 projector, some 6ft and 8ft wall shelves, a grid ceiling capable of hanging work from, and plenty of floor space.

  • Proposals that do not meet the requirements listed above will not be reviewed by our Artist Panel.

  • The Artist Panel will be reviewing proposals with concept, cohesiveness, innovation, craftsmanship, and accessibility in mind.
