Exhibition Proposals

Artlink is now accepting proposals for solo, group, and curated exhibitions! Exhibition proposals will be reviewed by the Artlink Artist Panel, Executive Director, and Exhibitions Coordinator once a year for consideration in our exhibition schedule for the following year. Selected proposals will be notified by email and provided with an exhibition contract. Time preferences are welcome as part of the submission process, but are not guaranteed.

Deadlines
Proposals will be reviewed once a year after the March 1st deadline. Proposals will be reviewed for at spots in our exhibition calendar at least 1 year out. It may take a few months after the deadline for notifications to go out for accepted proposals.

Exhibition Proposal Requirements (in entry form below)

  • Artist name, phone number, street address, city/state, email.

  • Artist statement.

  • Artist bio.

  • Exhibition proposal (250 - 500 words).

  • Images (please email images to Exhibitions Coordinator, Ellen Mensch at ellen@artlinkfw.org as invididual JPEGS or a PDF)
    For solo proposals:
    8-10 images of work you plan to exhibit or images of past bodies of work if you intend to create new work, these can be individual JPEGS or in the form of a PDF. Please include an image list (including artist, title, medium, size, and price of each artwork).

    For group and curated proposals: 3-5 images from each artist of work they plan to exhibit or images of past bodies of work if the artists intend to create new work. Please include an image list (including artist, title, medium, size, and price of each work).

  • Entry Fee
    There is an entry fee of $25 per proposal. Payment for entry should be made online by following the button below, or by check made payable to Artlink. Click the button below to pay.

  • Things to keep in mind

    For more distant National artists, you are more than welcome to submit a proposal, but please keep in mind that Artlink can not pay for artwork shipping or travel expenses.

    Click here for a floorpan of the gallery. We have 12 pedestals, 1 projector, some 6ft and 8ft wall shelves, a grid ceiling capable of hanging work from, and plenty of floor space.

    Proposals that do not meet the requirements listed above will not be reviewed by our Artist Panel.

    The Artist Panel will be reviewing proposals with concept, cohesiveness, innovation, craftsmanship, and accessibility in mind.
