with Jackie Daugherty

When: Sunday, Aug 11 from 2 - 3:30pm

Where: Artlink, 300 E. Main Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46802.

Tickets: $35

In this workshop you’ll learn how to make a pocket-sized leather-covered journal using simple bookbinding techniques. This leather journal is the perfect size for quick sketches, jotting down ideas, writing poetry or secret love notes!

Using leather for the cover and a variety of art papers you’ll construct a journal adding your own personalized closure using cording, buttons and beads supplied by the instructor.

Once you learn this simple bookbinding technique, you’ll find yourself looking at your art supplies in a whole different way, constructing journals unique to you! And these mini-journals make great gifts too!
